High School Musical is a trilogy of films made for young children. The cast include Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron, Ashley Tisdale and more. The first film "High School Musical" was not shown in cinemas but the DVD was released on January 20th 2006. It soon became Disney Channel's most successful movie ever.The sequel "High School Musical 2" was also not shown in cinemas but the DVD was released in early 2007. Earlier this year - 22nd October 2008 - the third, and hopefully final, movie was released but this time in cinemas and is yet to be released on DVD.
