Raised in Toronto's Allenbury housing complex, Alias knows the meaning of hard work and perseverance. In 1994 Alias broke in to the rap game by taking part in local talent shows, doing performances and recording any chance he got. By 1998 Alias bought his own production gear and started Donmillion Entertainment. In 1999 Alias dropped his debut self produced single "Long Time". In 2000 he followed up with his full length release "Know the names" which sold over 1000 units in the streets. In the following 3 years Alias released a total of 9000 promo mix CDs During North America's largest street festival Caribana from 2003-2005. Furthermore the independent powerhouse Donmillion Ent. has shot 4 independent music videos one featuring Posta Boy from Bet's 106 & Park the video has received play on MuchMusic, Much Vibe and on Jamaica's national video station. The new album "Music Money" out spring 2006 features collaborations with renowned artists such as Posta Boy, J.R. Writer from Dipset, and Royce Da 5'9 and will be distributed by Fontana North/Universal. Memorable performances include The Docks, Sky Dome, Mel Lastman Square, and the Pfizer convention in Niagara Falls. Alias has also featured on two of Snow's albums. With seven consecutive tracks in commercial rotation, 4 videos, 10,000 units in the streets, Alias Donmillion is the independent dream.
