Alisha Peru

Alisha Peru may be young, but she has talent and drive far beyond her years. A smiley, 17-year-old girl, once she steps on stage, it's obvious that's where she belongs. Alisha began playing the piano by ear at age 4 and started singing in public at age 8. Her ability to play multiple different instruments allows her to write songs with ease and go into the studio knowing exactly what she wants to hear. "Alisha Peru may have been the most talented 15 year old walk through the doors of Allusion Studios..." says Producer and Sound Engineer, Jim Pavett. "Her attitude and ease to work with in the studio shines through in the recordings; her performance is a flawless blend of modern rock peppered with melodic pop sensibilities." In June of 2010, Alisha released her first CD composed of songs that she wrote herself. Since then, she has drastically developed as both a songwriter and a performer. Although her CD packs quite the punch, it is still no match for her live performances. Alisha turns heads wherever she plays and always leaves her audiences wanting more. "I put every ounce of energy I have into every song I play. Some of you have probably even seen me cry on stage!" states Alisha. "If you can't make your audience feel something, why play for them at all?"
