Ari

Ari Posner composes an eclectic variety of music for series television, feature and documentary films, as well as radio and TV commercials. Originally from Winnipeg, Ari came to Toronto and completed an Honours Fine Arts degree in Music at York University (1989 to 1993). With a strong background in classical and popular piano his studies at York focused on jazz performance, composition and music for film and television under the direction of composer Paul Hoffert. Ari joined fellow composer Amin Bhatia at the multi-composer facility Bhatia Music Group in 1999. Here they worked closely together on many projects for television and film. In June of 2002, Ari moved his studio to the Fifth floor of the Ontario Design Centre at 260 King St. East where he has composed and arranged music for the clients of Pirate Radio and Television, one of the busiest post houses for advertising in Canada.
