Blue Foundation Biography
Blue Foundation is a Danish electronic music group which started out in 2000, based on Tobias Wilner (aka. Bichi)'s cooperation with various artists and musicians. His work with Kirstine Stubbe Teglbjærg, Bo Rande and Scott Martingell (aka. MC Jabber) has been characteristic for the Blue Foundation sound. Blue Foundation released their first 7” via MoshiMoshi (Hot Chip, Bloc Party etc) and their 1st self-titled album was released shortly after. Blue foundation’s major break came with the release of their second album “Sweep of Days”. The album features radio hits including “Save This Town”. The awarding-winning album also also gave life to tracks such as “Sweep” which later appeared in Michael Mann’s “Miami Vice – The Movie” and gave Blue Foundation an international fan base. Later “Sweep” got remixed by Mikkel Metal and 16 Bit Lolitas and made its way into the dance floor and clubland supported by DJs such as Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Sasha and many others around the globe.
