Brett Perkins Biography
2009 sees Brett Perkins with a new album on national radio, a First Place Great American Song Contest win, vocals on a national television ad and several commercially released co-writes. With musical roots in the early 80's L.A. club scene, as lead singer/songwriter of power pop band 'The Sneaks', Brett's honed his blend of Brit Pop & Americana influences into a powerful package on his 2009 'Red Light, Green Light, Go' CD, released in 2009 on Gateway Music in Denmark and Trough Records in the US. Calling Denmark home for many years now, Brett has multiple album releases, co-write cuts, film and tv song placements and 33 countries toured so far, as well as numerous songs receiving live play with international artists including Dana Cooper, Una Healy, Tom Kimmel, Teitur and Kevin Welch. He's also the founder and producer of the Copenhagen Songwriters Festival, Listening Room Concert Series and Listening Room International Songwriter Retreats, along with private career consulting for songwriters.
