Browns Biography
Formed in late 2007, Browns began with two tracks on Volume I of the 1928 Recordings Cassette tape compilation. The songs were recorded live and featured Matt Lamkin and Matt McGlouhlin of the Soft Pack, and Sam Sundos of the Sundelles lending a hand. Browns began writing new material and performing live with the addition of Austin Davila and Pete Langway. In the summer of 2008, this line up recorded a 6 song EP with Kevin McMahon at Marcata in New Paltz, released on 1928 Recordings that fall. October 2008 saw the addition of Santos Montano (Old Man Gloom, Zozobra) on drums as well as support for the Soft Pack on their east coast dates and the Obits "I Blame You" record release show. Browns played their last show July 18th, 2009 at Southpaw.
