"[BGL] is a straight up, no-exceptions punk rock band with some slight "old school hard-core influences. They have everything from fast, upbeat, sing-along choruses to tracks with punchy, in-your-face vocals." Formed in June 2002 by guitarist Alex Flannery, bassist Will Younger and drummer The Sean, BGL plays with attitude, energy and a distinctive sound reminiscent of the old glory days of great punk rock. After nearly a year as a trio, BGL decided to expand and went through a slew of second-guitarists before settling on Eric Bishop, a close friend. They play high-energy, fast-paced shows for their growing fanbase all over New Jersey and the surrounding areas and hope to do so for years to come.
