Caliber For The Heroes

Caliber For The Heroes was formed on 11 July 2004 in Jakarta, when Randi and Adri who are friends since kindergarten want to make a band to develop their guitar skills. As a first step they are looking for a bassist and drummer, and Adri has an initiative to contact his cousin named Baskoro to be a bassist. After that Randi contacted Riza who was his friend of elementary school and recruited him to be a drummer. Then the official personnel of CALIBER FOR THE HEROES are Adri (vocals / guitar), Randi (lead guitar), Baskoro (bass) and Riza (drums). As their music is influenced by outer bands such as Metallica, Iron Maiden to Trivium and Avenged Sevenfold. After steady with songs of their own creation in the year 2005 they started performing at school events to existing metal gigs in Jakarta. In 2006 they felt needed to support a single vocalist of their music and so much focus Adri guitar. After a long search they finally met and immediately try Hanry in a gigs in Kemang, Jakarta. They feel comfortable with Hanry's vocal and officially recruited him in May 2006. Point changes the band began to happen after the five of them have great intentions to make an album after participating in a small tour in Central Java. Finally, after working so hard and with minimal funds, in January 2008 they released their first EP entitled "THE GOD OF WAR" and launched the album at Semarang. This mini album sold quite rapidly, in the first month they managed to sell up to 500 copies in Jakarta, Semarang, Solo, Makassar, Samarinda to Batam. The album was distributed by hand to hand. After a long and exhausting campaign, at the end of 2008 the personnel decided to rest for a while because they have to concentrate on the national exams high school level. After have a long break, in May 2009 they met again. They got the bad news, because Riza had to resign from the band due to go to college out of town. Then in June 2009 Caliber For The Heroes recruited a new drummer named Iyan.
