The Canadian Tenors The Toronto-based group, The Canadian Tenors - Fraser Walters, Victor Micallef, Jamie McKnight and Remigio Pereira- started making waves around the world this year after being discovered through a national casting call by Canadian composer Jill Ann Siemens. In the past 12 months, they've plowed through a five-continent tour packed with over 80 concerts; filmed a documentary on the HIV/AIDS pandemic in Africa; belted out arias with renowned tenor Andrea Bocelli; and released a self-titled debut album that hit shelves last month. They've also shared the stage with such luminaries as American music legend Quincy Jones, Canadian producer-composer David Foster and former U.S. president Bill Clinton. The tenors' distinctively rich and colorful sound features vocals that range from operatic tones to light lyric textures. Their unique repertoire, sung not only in English but in French and Spanish and Italian, reflecting their multicultural heritages. They offer en ecclectic blend of classic and contemporary pop.
