Carl Carni

Carl Carni, born and raised in London in the early 80's, first took to the mic in 1995, MC-ing on pirate radio stations and at various Jungle raves in and around London under the name of Nice MC. After putting in the ground work, Carni was soon snapped up by London’s premier pirate radio station, Kool FM. There, he was a resident for over 2 years MC-ing with the likes of Skibba, Dett, MC Shabba and Fearless, playing at some legendary raves including Roast, Fever, One Nation and Telepathy. But with the ever evolving landscape of the DnB scene, Carni felt the only way he could develop his talent as an artist would be to turn his hand to Hip Hop and to put in some serious studio time. And in the studio is where he has been, for over three years honing and perfecting the raw talent he was blessed with. Since recording and promoting his two hugely successful mixtapes, London's Burning Chapter 1 and 2, Carni is hotly anticipated debut album is due for a release early in 2009.
