Chris Walker

From my memory, I offer the following: Mr. Walker is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist and singer from the state of Texas. He has worked notably with Regina Belle and was at one-time married to Grammy winner, Lisa Fischer. His talent far exceeds his recorded repertoire. He is one of my favorite young vocalists. His first album, The First Time, was released in the early 1990's -- it featured a beautiful ballad with Fischer called "Someday." Walker is best known for the hit songs "No Place Like Love", "Take Time", "Love Tonight" and "How Do You Heal A Broken Heart." Thus far, he has released three albums "First Time" (1991), " Sincerely Yours" (1993) and after a lengthy hiatus from recording, "I Know It's Love" (2005). According to his official website, Walker has a new R&B in the works. It is due for release through Pendulum Records in association with Walker Davis Entertainment sometime in 2010.
