Ehsan

Ehsan Naseri was born in Iran on February 11th 1988. After a few years Ehsan and his family moved to Amsterdam, the Netherlands. At Primary school his teachers noticed Ehsan’s talent for music and motivated him to continue making music and singing. During his time at Secondary school Ehsan decided (at the age of 15) to participate with “Kunstbende”. This is an organization that focuses on teenagers who are interested in art & culture. During this competition he leaves a very good impression and ends as runner up in the finale. After his performance at “Kunstbende” Ehsan received some very positive feedback, so his older sister decided to enter Ehsan for the RTL4 program “Popstars the Rivals”. Ehsan made it through the auditions and a big adventure began. Ehsan showed that he is a great solo-artist and that he really loves singing during the liveshows. He also learned how to handle pleasure, disappointments, media-attention and fans during this period. During “Popstars the Rivals” Ehsan became one of the members of the boyband Men2B with 4 other guys. There was also a girlband called Raffish, both bands battled for the 1st place in the tv show and in the Dutch charts. On December 23, 2004 Men2B won this battle with their number 1 single ‘Bigger than that’. Short after their victory their record became gold, selling over 40.000 copies. After performing at almost every stage in the Netherlands, the group called it quits in 2006. Now, 22 years old, Ehsan has been growing to be a promising singer/songwriter. In 2008 he released his first solo-single “Is Dit Liefde”, which was watched more then 2 million times on youtube!!!. In 2010 Ehsan signed a Management/ Record/ Publishing deal with Walboomers Music in Amsterdam. Shortly after he recorded his first album ‘Genuine’, which was released on October 6th 2010 in Japan. This album includes collaborations with Tania Christopher, Elisha La’Verne and Lil’ Eddie. The album is now (October 18, 2010) number 3 in the R&B I-tunes charts in Japan.
