CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: 1958 -Started as a jazz bass player out of college. 1959 - Left Tucson to tour with Anita O'Day. Toured with her for two years. 1962 -Drafted during Vietnam. Two Tours of Duty. 1964 -Moved to Los Angeles & signed by Vee Jay Records as the next big thing. 1964 -1st Gary LeMel Album released to critical success. 1964 -Months later Vee Jay sign THE BEATLES, cutting short a promising music career. 1973 -Hired as Vice President of Jerry Weintraub's Management III 1975 -Hired as Vice President of First Artists. Company owned by Barbara Streisand, Paul Newman, Steve McQueen, Dustin Hoffman & Sydney Poitier 1978 -Hired as Senior Vice President for Casablanca Records 1981 -Hired as Senior Vice President for Boardwalk Record Company 1982 -Hired as Executive Vice President of Columbia Pictures 1986 -Hired as President of Warner Bros. Music 1991 -"The Bodyguard" becomes the biggest selling soundtrack of all time. 1997 -Promoted to President, Worldwide Music for Warner Bros. 1997 -Appointed CEO of Warner Sunset Records -soundtrack label 1997 -Gary LeMel's "comeback" CD released called Romancing The Screen 1998 - Performs at Carnegie Hall in an evening of jazz hosted by Clint Eastwood. 1998 -Performs at Carnegie Hall in an evening dedicated to Frank Sinatra. 1999 -Signs with Atlantic Records and 1st Atlantic CD is released entitled Moonlighting 2001 -June 2001, his 2nd Atlantic CD is released. Lost In Your Arms *6 time Grammy Award Winner for Soundtrack of the Year CHARITABLE CAUSES: MAP -Board of Governors for the Musician Assistance Program. Phoenix House -Board of Governors for this drug treatment program. Q.R.S. -Board of Directors City of Hope -Advisory Board Member T.J. Martel -Active Member of the T.J.
