Born - West London, UK Influences - music of the 1960s and 70s including Sam Cooke, Motown (Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson, et al), Sly & The Family Stone, Aretha, Otis Redding & the music of Stax, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Joni Mitchell, Nick Drake, Desmond Dekker, Toots & The Maytals, Jimmy Cliff, etc. Accomplishments: - written songs for/with Michael Jackson, Dusty Springfield, Eternal, Billy Mann, Color Me Badd, Shaun Escoffery - released 5 albums on Atlantic Records (Heroes, Spies & Gypsies; Prisoner of Love), EMI and Giant Records (Bare), Hands On Records (The Drop) and Oyster Music (Move Into Soul) - achieved top ten in Germany in 1989 with Cinderella from Heroes, Spies & Gypsies, #52 in the UK in 1992 with It's Not A Love Thing from Bare and also #52 in 1997 with Drive from The Drop
