Golgotha

Golgotha is a Spanish doom metal band that formed in 1992 by Vicente J. Paya of the death metal band Unbounded Terror. They entered the Desgrabaciones Studio in June 1993 to record a self-titled demo with five songs. They signed a deal with Repulse Records and released a mini album called "Caves Of Mind" in the winter of 1994. Several line-up changes and tours with Avulsed and Deranged followed before the band broke up some time after their final album was released in 1998. In 2004, the band reformed with Vicente as only original member. Dave Rotten (Avulsed, Christ Denied) and Vicente J. Paya are currently working in a project in the vein of Sunn O)). The project's name is Unwom. 2.) Pre-Acid Bath before the name change. 3) Prog-rock band, consisting mainly (solely?) of Karl Foster (http://karlfoster.com/). Recorded two albums, Unmaker Of Worlds (1990), Symphony In Extremis (1993).
