Gotham Road Biography
Gotham Road (or Gotham Rd.) is a band formed from the ashes of the band Graves by Michale Graves and Dr. Chud, both formerly of the Misfits, whom Michale Graves left for the final time in October 2000. Graves had released just one album, Web Of Dharma. Gotham Road's main difference musically was that it was much closer to heavy metal compared to Graves' poppy punk sound. Gotham Road gained a small cult following, mostly fans of Michale's work in the Misfits. Gotham Road released the Seasons Of The Witch EP and toured several times before going on hiatus while Michale was in the Marines. While in the Marines, Michale was honorably discharged for hurting his back. Soon after, he was asked by Horror High Records to record a solo album and tour in support of it. The album, called Punk Rock Is Dead, released June 2005, put Gotham Road on hold once again. After Michale completed the Punk Rock Is Dead Tour, Gotham Road started to play shows once again. It is not known if Gotham Road will become Michale's full time project again, or if he will continue with his solo career. Graves "identifies himself as capitalist punk, railing against the left." Gotham Road is Michale Graves: Vocals Loki: Guitar J.V.: Bass Paul Lifeless: Drums
