Graffiti6 are singer-songwriter Jamie Scott and prolific Writer/Producer and DJ, Tommy D. The two come from very different musical backgrounds but together create a remarkable and unique chemistry. Since their first meeting in the Autumn of 2008, the moment Jamie's timelessly soulful voice took centre-stage within Tommy's very contemporary soundscapes, the career of Graffiti6 has progressed at supernatural speed: Major offers following on from their first demos and then, as if by magic ...a summer anthem. The Sun Newspaper picked up 'Stare Into The Sun', the first track the band wrote and made it the centre-piece of their summer 2009 Seize The Summer Sun’ TV and Radio advertising campaign. Not a bad start for any new band! Although not an official single Stare Into The Sun claimed Record of the day in Record Of The Day, Single of the Week in The Sun, Tip Sheet recommendation, a Music Week Playlist listing and a Billboard ‘Global Pulse’ piece. Graffiti6 describe their sound as Psychedelic Northern Soul, big beats with one of the best original voices around. A breath of fresh air. Jamie and Tommy are also joined by Jimi Crayon, whose insane bold and colourful artwork completes the Graffiti6 package.
