Introducing H.I.T, one of the most talented emcees to rise up out of the West Coast!! With his undeniable charisma, flow patterns, and smooth swagger on the mic, often compared to talented lyricists such as Jay-Z, Kurupt, and Nas, H.I.T lives up to his name, proving just why he is dubbed the Highest of Intellect Talent. Currently a memeber of the rap group Fly Society, H.I.T began his journey as one of the most respected and infamous battle rappers growing up on the streets of Long Beach. Surrounded by harsh realites in the environment he grew up in and around, and faced with choosing what route his life would take, H.I.T chose a different type of lifestyle. Featured in "The Source" Magazine's "Off the Radar". things began to develop for H.I.T, and he began receiving much earned recognition also gaining exposure in other commercial publications such as XXL, Vibe and Maxim, that would catapult his future past the days of battle rapping on the streets of Long Beach. With an even greater respect for his craft and a growing name, H.I.T began doing songs and features with the likes of artists such as Snoop Dogg, The Clipse, Bun B. Devin The Dude, labelmate Mecca Dawn, as well as production from Platinum Producer Mr. Lee, Jelly Roll, Daz, and High House Productions' "Fuzzy" Felix. Also being featured on a host of mixtapes such as Snoop's "Welcome to the Chucch", DJ Warrior's "Ill Street Dues", Street Politiks, DubCNN, Soul Hood's Stylefornia 1&2, & many others, this emcee is no stranger to the game. H.I.T has gained experience and has become known for his alluring presence having performed on many a stage, opening up for and alongside artists such as E-40, Nate Dogg, Suga Free, Outkast and NAS just to name a few. His street credibility is undeniable and his talent is limitless, with a range of skills and versatility from rhyming to writing and arranging songs, to being a phenomenal entertainer drawing in various crowds with his natural magnetism. Few have been capable of holding down respect in both the industry and in the streets...but H.I.T is breaking down the barriers, showing that he is fully capable of being the "TRUTH", that is most definately apparent from his raw and gritty lyrics to his clever metaphors and catchy hooks. In 2007 his solo album "The Born Supremacy", H.I.T showed everyone worldwide what it is to possess that "high intellect of talent". His first single "Drama" featuring Terry Kennedy, Capt. of Pharrell's Ice Cream Skate Team, and produced by the West Coasts own "Fuzzy" Felix of High House Productions, is already becoming a street anthem and classic all its own, setting H.I.T apart from his many counterparts in the game. The single's success has been rapidly growing since it was released in late June 2006, when it was first introduced to the streets and the internet on myspace.com. After just 2 months of play, "Drama" has recieved over 70,000 hits and growing, and placed H.I.T at Number 9 on its Top Unsigned Hip Hop Artists in California, proving that he is definately in demand and what the game has been waiting for. Backed by his group Fly Society, H.I.T is already being anticipated as the next big movement coming up in the game. Currently maintaing an active and growing career, working on a wide range of various projects,including his upcoming 2md solo project "A Beautiful Mind", H.I.T's buzz on the streets and in the industry is taking everyone by storm!
