Huang Yida Biography
Huang Yida ( Chinese: 黄义达; Huang Yi Da, Born August 11, 1980) is a Singaporean singer and songwriter. He has released 3 major albums on Sony Taiwan. His song “Chou Nan Ren” (Jerk) was the opening theme for the Taiwanese drama, Devil Beside You. Another song of his, “Set Me Free”, was the theme song for the Chinese version of the movie Stealth. He graduated from the Lee Wei Song School of Music. During the mid-1990s, Huang Yi Da decided to, “have a change in environment” during his years at Presbyterian High School in Singapore. For about a year, he learned how to play the guitar from his sister’s boyfriend at the time. Once he saw a TV commercial for a singing school, he enrolled in 1996 only to find his talent in song-writing and singing. Huang Yi Da had a hit single by the name of Blue Sky and continued to make his first album, Wu Fa Ding Yi. He is currently working on a second album. With his alluring songs, he mixes the rock and pop genre together to form a style truly unique. All songs are written and composed by YiDa He's the upcoming star. His music sounds like real rock.
