Hype City Kings are from Virginia. Northern Virginia, NOVA, DMV, 703 and all those good things. Hype City Kings are two artists: Speakeasy (MC) and DJ Sabri / Illogical (production) The music is smart raps with smart beats, concluding in a smartass product They were friends growing up and started making music together in 2006 upon graduation from high school resulting in their first album "Life Inspired" 2007. The whole thing was recorded in a bedroom on a mic with no stand... classic. Then came "Mind the Rap" in 2008 named from the fact it was all written while Speakeasy was in London and the most recent is Speakeasy's mixtape "The Beatlegger: Take One" in 2009... classic. Two new albums are in the making. HCK 4... classic, and a S.E. side project with producer Kilo (concept album... neo-classic).
