It follows 14-year-old Mimu Emilton, who dreams of becoming a singing idol, much like her own idol, Yurie. Yurie brought world peace through her music & became the world's president. Mimu has a chance to audition in her hometown of Starland in front of Yurie, with the assistance of 6 "Excellent Idols" (Layla, Extra, Corvette, Shion, Palpu, and Ruka), Yurie's successors. Before Mimu geta a chance to sing in front of Yurie & the Excellent Idols, Mimu and the 6 idols are kidnapped by aliens and taken to another universe. They end up landing on the Tropical Dimension's Bali Hawaii, where they are warmly welcomed. A competition begins in 2 hours to raise Bali Hawaii's sun, as idols from all over space gather to take part. The owner, Mr. Bananaan, desires the Excellent Idols to win, since they are his most recent obsession. The competitions include the Swing Ski, the Muddy Quiz Contest, and the Water Scooter Fight. Mimu must save up enough money to make it back to her hometown of Starland, which is universes away! Will Mimu return to Starland? And what is it that everybody starts to look like Yurie?
