In Apostasia

~ English In Apostasia is an idea that was born many years ago, but it only took the form of a band in April 2010. The songs started being put together and recorded in February 2010 by Jeff Britto (My Threnody), and in April Felipe Brian (Guitars) and Daniel (Drums) were invited to form the band. Musically, the idea is to bring back with our compositions, the music made by those who were the roots and shaped what we know today as Black Metal. We believe that a lot has been lost in this past decade when it comes to the essence of what Black Metal originally was and In Apostasia is our attempt of paying tribute to all of the kings and their simpler but soulful way of expressing their thoughts through music. Ideologically, in our lyrics, we approach an old but important subject. We will try to give voice to all that like us, believe that religions and the idea of a god have a negative effect on us as a society. We express our discontentment with the persecution and oppression people have suffered through history and yet today, simply for choosing to have a mind of their own instead of accepting an idea just because it was there before they were born. The fact that a system has been established for two millenniums doesn’t make it right and above questioning. We have always been treated aggressively and the time has come to stop it using their own weapons. ~ Portugues In Apostasia é uma idéia que nasceu há muitos anos, mas só tomou a forma de uma banda em abril de 2010. As músicas começaram a ser feitas e gravadas em fevereiro de 2010 por Jeff Britto (My Threnody), e em abril Felipe Brian (guitarra) e Daniel (bateria) foram finalmente convidados para formar a banda. Musicalmente, a idéia é trazer de volta com nossas composições, um pouco da música feita por aqueles que foram as raízes e que forjaram o que conhecemos hoje como Black Metal. Acreditamos que muito se perdeu na última década, quando se trata da essência do que o Black Metal originalmente é, e a InApostasia é a nossa tentativa de homenagear a todos os reis em sua mais simples, porem profundas formas de expressar suas idéias através da música . Ideologicamente, em nossas letras, abordamos um tema antigo, mas importante. Tentamos dar voz a todos os que como nós, acreditam no efeito negativo que religiões, e a idéia de um deus tem sobre nós enquanto sociedade. Manifestamos o nosso descontentamento com a perseguição e opressão que tantos sofreram ao longo da história assim como nos dias de hoje, pelo simples fato de terem optado por terem uma mente pensante, questionando e escolhendo seus próprios caminhos. O fato de que um sistema ter sido criado e estar implantado a dois milênios não a faz correto e, acima de questionamento.
