Jal Biography
Jal (meaning "water" in Farsi and "to burn" in Urdu) is an experimental folk rock band from Lahore, Pakistan. It consists of Gohar Mumtaz, Farhan Saeed, and Aamir Sheraz. It once featured Atif Aslam, who left the band to follow his own musical ambitions as a solo artist. Their first album "Aadat", released in 2004, earned widespread appraisal for the band. They later went on to release an album titled "Boondh" in the December of 2007.
