Time and time again music lovers are going to concerts expecting to see a solid music performance along with an entertaining stage show. Generally, bands only succeed in one of these areas. However there are those bands that break the norm: Meet Jay And The Lovebirds. Four guys from Brooks Alberta, Canada, with more to prove then just their musical skill. With their high intensity shows, filled with props, backdrops, and their own lighting system, combined with intricate musical pieces, thought provoking lyrics that mature way beyond there average age of 18, and a passion to see this generation changed, JATLB is creating a name for themselves that is hard to forget. Though Jay And The Lovebirds tour full time, doing their high school on the road, they still took the time to write music that connects with their listeners in original and interesting ways. "We believe music is a very powerful and affective way to reach people. We as a group of musicians simply wanted to create a sound that people of all ages could not only enjoy, but find relief from there hard times in. We don't think being in a band makes us any better than anyone else; because it definitely doesn't. We have Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Saviour and along with that we have love and joy and peace! We aren't religious or preachy or anything of the such, were simply a group of friends who love God and love to worship him whole heartedly! We encourage people at our shows to seek out what they believe, whatever that might be while bringing a message of hope to them. We as a band can honestly say there isn't anywhere in the world that we would rather be than here and now. We’re so passionate about our music and we love to serve God, both of which we as a band are learning and experiencing first hand." After completing their EP entitled Sounds Like Hope, Jay And The Lovebirds felt it was time for something fresh. Recently finishing in the studio, the Lovebirds recorded a full length album titled "To the Living" that was released as of May 1st on thier cross-Canada CD release tour. Connecting with their audience on and off the stage, the Lovebirds are a fast pace growing band creating a "must see show."
