Jeff Killed John

Jeff Killed John, 4-piece nu metal band, is nowadays known as Bullet for My Valentine. Formed in Bridgend, South Wales. The band was formed in 1997 by three BFMV members: Matt Tuck (vocals, guitar), Michael Padget ''Padge'' (background vocals, guitar), Michael Thomas ''Moose'' (drums) and Nick Crandle (bass guitar). They played Metallica and Nirvana covers in the beginning, but later on they managed to write their own songs. They were rehearsing really hard to get noticed. In 2002 they released 2-Track-CD called ''You / Play With Me''. Later, they were ready to record a 4-Song-EP but not everything was going as planned. Nick Crandle decided to quit. Other members invite a new bassist Jason James ''Jay'' into their band. They changed their band name to Opportunity in Chicago but it didn't last long. Their 3rd name is still the same.
