Jessica Brando Biography
Jessica Vitelli (born in Grosseto, Tuscany, December 6, 1994), known as Jessica Brando, is an Italian singer. Brando started singing at the age of five and, in her early teens, she started her first band with some friends, making cover versions of 80’s dance tracks. Brando won various local singing contests, pop and jazz, including a scholarship for the Cinecittà Studios. At nine years old, she was admitted to the Modern Dance Academy of Kledi in Rome. In 2005, she won a scholarship for the Washington School of Ballet in the USA. In 2008, she sang for the Pope, John Paul II and appeared on the television show "Il Senso della Vita" singing with a band of Italian jazz superstars. Shortly after, she signed a deal with EMI Music Italy. Brando completed the recording for her debut EP in 2009. In 2010, she participated in the Sanremo Music Festival in the category New Generation with the song "Dove non ci sono ore,” written by the singer Valeria Rossi. In May 2010, she launched her single "Il colore del cuore," from her "Dimmi Cosa Sogni" album that was released in July.
