John Kay Biography
John Kay was born Joachim Krauledat in Germany but changed his name when he emigrated to Canada. As a singer, songwriter and guitarist, he is best known as the frontman of Steppenwolf. Blues, rock, protest songs all have come from his pen as a writer, and his solo albums reflect his eclectic musical influences such as Patrick Sky.
