Perhaps the most brutal song of Judas Priest's career. This song is also one of the most influential in the history of Heavy Metal, offering a precursor to many of the extreme sounds of the next decade in the Thrash and Death genres. Priest always had a "speedster" or OTT track on each album, but this one was made even more powerful by it's segue from the emotional epic 'Here Come the Tears", into this frenzied guitar and vocal madness. The song deals with the frustration on an individual on the Berlin Wall and it's constrictions on his being. It can also be interpreted as one's look at unwilling to conform to the masses. Song was covered by Slayer for the "South of Heaven" album with virtually the same sound, despite ten years elapsing since the release of this track. It was a solid effort, but the warped guitar sound and the wailing vocals of Halford were much missed. In 2010, this track won Judas Priest a Grammy for Best Metal Performance as performed live on their 2009 album, "A Touch of Evil".
