Combine Taylor Swift’s contagious southern charm and songwriting ability, with Kelly Clarkson's vocal chops, and you have Katelyn. In 2008, she won the "Performer/Songwriter Showcase" and the "Songwriting Competition" at Berklee College of Music, and was even nominated by the Berklee Songwriting Faculty to meet Paul Simon. After graduating from Berklee in ‘09, she began scoring independent films and composing for numerous companies, as well as for other artists. Her music has also been heard on the Golf Channel for the Nationwide Tour Coverage. “Sweet Pea” was most recently seen as a contestant on Season 9 of American Idol (as Katelyn Clampett), winning a golden ticket to Hollywood.
