Kendra Smith Biography
Having previously played bass for 80s paisley underground outfits The Dream Syndicate and Opal (who became Mazzy Star after she left), Kendra Smith moved to the woods of Northern California in the early '90s. Her two solo releases are The Guild of Temporal Adventurers (1992) and Five Ways of Disappearing (1995): a 13-song collection melding psychedelic, folk and dream pop styles. Kendra made two public appearances to support the album - a gig in New York, followed by an in-store in Hollywood - and then returned to the forest. She hasn't been heard from on record since.
