Korova

There is at least 2 bands sharing the name Korova. 1, Avantgarde black metal band from Austria formed in 1990, changed the name to KorovaKill in 2000. 2. A hardcore punk rock band from the USA that formed in 2001. They went on hiatus in 2006 and began playing again in 2008. They have released several demos, a self released 7", anda full length CD in late 2008 titled Another Happy Customer. The band is heavily influenced by late-era Black Flag, but mixes elements of 90s power violence, screamo, sludge, and Oi! into their sound. Their records contain songs in short bursts of 45 seconds or less as well drawn out, drony noise rock. 3. Korova was a punk/melodic hardcore band from Namnå, Norway, formed in 2005. The band has temporarily split up in favour of other projects.
