http://kylepatrick.bandcamp.com/ http://www.myspace.com/kylepatrickmusic Kyle Patrick is a singer-songwriter from Atlanta, Georgia, best known for his role in power-pop band The Click Five. He first started playing guitar at age 8 and went on to performing for crowds at age 11. He attended Berklee College of music in Boston, MA where he began writing with former Berklee students of band The Click Five. After a year or so of writing with the band, they found themselves in need of a new lead singer after the departure of original lead singer Eric Dill. The band invited Kyle to officially join the band in January 2007, while he was still studying at Berklee. Kyle promptly dropped out of Berklee College of music to join the band and they soon began recording the band's second album Modern Minds and Past Times. When not working with The Click Five Kyle is known as a performer in his own right. He recorded a few songs in 2008 in a church in Charleston and is often performing intimate acoustic shows around the east coast. He is known to have toured with fellow singer-songwriter Jesse Ruben. Kyle also works with Karly Jugersen on their collaboration side project Karly and Kyle which saw them release a five song christmas EP in December 2009. Kyle's solo EP was released on 20th May 2010, Kyle's 24th birthday and is avaliable from http://kylepatrick.bandcamp.com/ for name your own price. Kyle stated that "This music means the world to me, and I want you to have it" as the reason for pay-what-you-want pricing. The EP includes 6 tracks: two of which were recorded in Charleston and 1 recorded from home, on an internal mac microphone. The ep also comes with live video performances of two of the tracks. In addition to this solo work The Click Five are due to release their 3rd album later this year, 2010.
