Left Front Tire Biography
Left Front Tire (LFT) is a pop punk band from Cornelia, Georgia, USA. Formed in Habersham County, Georgia in the early 90's, these Northeast Georgia rockers were on their way to a successful career. Putting together eponymous DIY album in 1996. Four years later LFT recorded and released their first full length album on Gladiator Records, "Social Icon". The popular track, "Bring you Down" was featured on American Pie 2 soundtrack. These North Georgia rockers also recorded a cover of Hank Jr's "Country Boy Can Survive" a more notable track from Social Icon.[citation needed] On their 2003 follow up effort to Social Icon, "42 ways to lose a friend", LFT continued with their catchy, high-energy pop punk. With the single "cheaters", and even a country themed song, "For What it Means" featuring a steel guitar solo. However shortly after signing with Red Eye Records, LFT decided to call it quits. They played their final show at the 40-watt club in Athens, Georgia, in the fall of 2005.
