London is also an R&B artist. London is a glam metal/hard rock band, based in Hollywood, California. The band is perhaps most notable for featuring members that would go on to play in more famous bands such as Mötley Crüe, Guns N' Roses, W.A.S.P. and Cinderella. London was formed in 1978 by Lizzie Grey and Nikki Sixx. The two met when Sixx was recruited to play bass for Sister, the band that Grey was in with Blackie Lawless. This line-up did not last long and soon Grey and Sixx left to form London. The two recruited a local drummer named Dane Rage. London was briefly joined by Michael White as the vocalist, who bore a resemblance, both in voice and image, to Robert Plant. After disagreements with the band, White left to focus on his own band, The White. Keturah Wright born (August 21,1990) and raised in Brooklyn, NY, but better known by her stage name London, is an R&B Artist and Song-Writer. Her first Single is Our Love. London began performing at the age of seven in church. With only a short time in the public eye, New York-born singer-songwriter London has managed to seduce fans with a sound that seems to tap some collective musical subconscious minds. While her distinctive, voice and jazz-infused arrangements often draw crowds. Her neo-soul sound has put her in the class of singer-songwriters like Corrine Bailey Rae, Ledisi, and Angie Stone just to name a few. London's unexpected success is truly a big accomplishment for her and everyone in her circle. London is the 3rd child of 8 children to a very hard working mother. London got her inspiration from her grandmother who is now deceased but still lives on in her heart. Just by believing her grandmother is watching over her with a smile is motivation for London's writing and singing. The stage name London came from a trip that she was suppose to be taking to London, she got so excited about the trip that she started calling herself just that LONDON and it became catchy to her family and friends. Although she is young she is yet a mature young lady that tells her story through lyrics that are filled with emotions and love all at the same time. London is pushing her music to the next level a place that has not been touched.
