Michael Isley Band

The Michael Isley Band originated in Philadelphia with singer-songwriter Michael Isley, bassist Vincent Solitro, guitarists Andrew Leib and Brian Dolle, and drummer Vincent Petaccio. The band surfed around the city playing their debut record "It's All About Love" with great chemistry. Come the holiday season 2008, the journey was discontinued due to Isley's permanent departure for Los Angeles. After a couple months of adjusting and reenergizing, it was time to get MIB started in LA. As of September 2009, the band consists of Isley, and guitarists Aris Ford and Jonathan Farrar. The bunch are currently learning "It's All About Love" and putting final touches to the new full length record which still remains unclear in terms of when writing will be finalized and release will be set. The group awaits the arrival of a bassist, drummer, and saxist to complete the 6 man band. In January 2010, the band will release their first music video for single "Never Lose Your Soul" with direction by Sean Chung. The band potentially plans on going back to 'all about love' songs for future videos. A new version of 'Never Lose Your Soul' will be on the upcoming record and featured in the music video. The new record has had a total of 43 different songs battling for placement and has been cut over 10 times. "We're not gonna settle. This record won't miss any truth or reality. So, be ready for it." -Isley As of March 2010, the band consists of guitarists Jonathan Farrar and James Rellita, bassist Derek Hobson, and drummer Joseph Choi. The album "You Have Me" was released February 4th with their first music video of "Never Lose Your Soul". The plans for the band are big and exciting. The band is currently learning the material and will be performing consistently within the summer months.
