Michael Jeffery Biography
Michael Scott Jeffery (born in Glendale, California), better known as Mike Jeffery, is a recognized acoustic guitarist, singer and songwriter. He wrote and produced the single "Farewell Icarus”. He plays for audiences and performs as requested at various venues. From an early age, Mike had an intense interest in music, especially acoustic folk/pop music. His influences include: Arlo Guthrie, Bob Dylan, John Denver, James Taylor, Dan Folgelberg, Don McLean and Jimmy Buffett.Mike played guitar and sang in public for the first time to a large audience at a talent show when he was at the age of twelve. During the seventies while in high school, he played the guitar, baritone and saxophone for band and orchestra while still being involved in singing groups and performing various solo parts. His first solo single album Farewell Icarus was released in 2003. Mike continues to work on projects and strives to release more songs that have been “put on the shelf”.
