Michael Marton

Michael was born in Vancouver, B.C. and grew up in the town of Oliver, B.C. before moving with his family to Abbotsford briefly, then Westbank, a suburb of Kelowna, B.C. (Westbank is now it's own municipality). He got his start in music in high school with friends playing Beatles and other covers in small coffee shops but was mostly interested in writing his own music. Michael eventually settled in South Surrey, near White Rock, B.C. and released his CD Once Alive, and produced and recorded it in his own home studio, save for the first 2 tracks Off To War and Once Alive, which were recorded at Turtle Studios in White Rock. Michael has garnered airplay for three singles Off To War, Once Alive and Dear Boy on Canadian Radio and is currently being added to stations in Belarus, Netherlands and Australia!
