Miyano Mamoru Biography
Born June 8, 1983 in Saitama, Japan, 宮野真守 (Miyano Mamoru) is a member of comedy acting group SMILY☆SPIKY and has expanded into anime voice acting and pop music. Some of his more famous roles include Ishida Tetsu in The Prince of Tennis Musicals, Kiba in Wolf's Rain, Riku in Kingdom Hearts, Yagami Light in Death Note, and Tamaki Suou in Ouran High Host Club. He sang 'Make My Way' for Eyeshield 21 OST, where he provided the voice for Sakuraba Haruto. On the second Ouran High Host Club OST, he also sings "Guilty Beauty Love," the theme song for his character. It was announced on on August 29, 2006, he would play Yagami Light in the new anime version of Death Note. He is the seiyuu of Rikuson Hakugen in the anime Koutetsu Sangokushi and also sings the ED 'Kuon' as well. The single was released on May 23, 2007. His first independent single Discovery was released June 4, 2008. It contains 3 original tracks, and is not related to any of his roles as a voice actor. "...Kimi e" (also: "...Kimi he"), his second single that is independent of any of his roles as a voice actor, was released on December 3, 2008. Like Discovery, it contains 3 tracks. "J*S" is his third single that was released on July 29, 2009. His fourth single will be released on October 21, 2009, entitled "REFRAIN"
