Muramasa

muramasa (ムラマサ☆) is an eight-member "Osaka ska-pop band," according to their official website. The members are Yumi (vocals), Musashi (tenor sax), Kimukei (alto sax), Yayoi (trombone), Kuri (trombone), Hanayan (drums), Ryota (guitar), and Toshihiro (bass). The group had its debut in 2005 with the single "SUMMER OF LOVE," and released their first full-length album, "twinkle," in 2006. Since the release of "twinkle" and the 2007 singles "SELFISH GIRL!!" and "CAN'T SLEEP BUT..." their popularity has risen. Their second album, "Lifull," was released on August 29th, and charted at the #5 position on the Oricon on its first day.
