The 'Iron Man 2' soundtrack featuring 15 old songs from AC/DC has beaten an album of brand new songs from UK God Paul Weller to the top of the British chart this week.
The soundtrack for the Iron Man sequel features nothing but AC/DC including songs from both Bon Scott and Brian Johnson with classics like Bon's 'Let There Be Rock' and 'Highway To Bell' through to Brian's 'Thunderstruck' and 'Shoot To Thrill'.
'War Machine' from the recent 'Black Ice' gets a play and while there is no new music on the album, the 'Powerage' out-take 'Cold Hearted Man', later released on 'Backtracks' is featured.
'Wake Up The Nation' is the 10th studio album for Paul Weller and features his first collaboration since 1982 with ex-Jam member Bruce Foxton.
'Wake Up The Nation' debuted at number 2.
Other debuts on the UK chart this week were Meat Loaf 'Hang Cool Teddy Bear' at no. 4, Kate Nash 'My Best Friend Is You' at no. 8, Selena Gomez & The Scene 'Kiss & Tell' at no. 12 and the comeback album for James 'The Night Before' at no. 20.
