The Lord Mayor of Melbourne, Australia, has officially opened the new AC/DC Street with the words, "Let us rock."
Lord Mayor John So erected the sign for AC/DC Lane on Friday as bagpipes played their song, "Long Way To The Top."
So says, "As the song says, this is a 'Highway to Hell.' But I say this is a lane to heaven." City officials have had several copies of the street signs made in case fans try to steal the original as a souvenir.
However, councilor Kimberley Kitching says the signs would take "some pretty good equipment" to get off.
