AC/DC fans should have the blueprint for the planned rollout of the new album 'Black Ice', the world tour and some added surprises before next week is out.
Reports online suggest plans are afoot for Acca Dacca to align the new project with the game Rock Band, distribute the album exclusively through Wal-Mart and then stampede around the world with a tour starting later this year.
Fans are hanging out for the release of 'Black Ice'. It is AC/DC's first studio album in 8 years.
'Black Ice' was recorded in Canada at Bryan Adams' studio under the production guidance of Brendan O'Brien. It will be the band's 15th studio album.
Their last album was 'Stiff Upper Lip' in 2000 but the band maintained a profile with DVD.
The greatest hits DVD 'Family Jewels', the live compilation 'Plug Me In' and a guest spot with the Rolling Stones on the Toronto Rock project has kept the band in front of the fans.
'Black Ice' is expected to be released in October.
