Adam Lambert and Sauli Koskinen have split up.
The former 'American Idol' star and the Finnish TV personality have called time on their relationship due to work commitments but Adam, 31, says the pair remain good friends.
He told South Florida Gay News: 'Sauli and I remain really good friends, and I know it's a cliche thing to say. But it's totally true. I just gave him a coffee and bagel earlier today. He's a great person and we've had an amazing couple of years together. Things have just run their course.'
'I've been getting really busy and working a lot and and he's been getting really busy because he has a show he's filming for Finnish television. So we just decided to part ways.'
In 2011 Adam was taken to a police station and questioned after a fight with Sauli in Helsinki gay bar Don't Tell Momma became physical in the early hours of the morning.
Sauli was also arrested following the incident but both men were later released following what Detective Superintendent Petri Juvonen called a 'not very serious incident'.
Adam blamed getting arrested on a combination of travel, alcohol and confusion.
