Adam Lambert has no plans to take advantage of gay marriage soon.
Many same-sex celebrity couples have been dashing to the alter after hearing the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Proposition 8 in California last week.
However the American Idol Season 8 runner-up is happy to remain unhitched.
"It's fabulous!" he said about the ruling to Radar Online. "But I'm single, so there are no wedding bells in my future [right now]!"
Adam broke up with his Finish entertainment reporter boyfriend, Sauli Koskinen, earlier this year.
Since then he has been putting his energy into supporting great charity causes.
His most recent included a concert for the Trevor Project's efforts in crisis intervention and suicide prevention services for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community.
"I believe in using celebrity for visibility in causes bigger than myself," he said.
Adam is said to be among a few talent show alumni to be negotiating judging contracts with American Idol.
It has been confirmed Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj and Randy Jackson will not return to the panel.
Country singer Keith Urban is also expected to leave the show.
It's known that the network is planning a drastic revamp of the series, which first hit screens in 2002. Many names have been linked to next year's season, with gossip suggesting previous stars like Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Clarkson and Clay Aiken could be taking seats on the panel.
