Aimee Mann gets violent

When Aimee Mann isn't out creating music, she's out trying to beat the living daylights out of someone. Mann has taken up boxing. A friend introduced her to the sport, got her a lesson and helped her find a trainer. Now she's completely into it and she even boxes with her bass player. Mann says she likes boxing because it's difficult, which means there's always something new to learn. Mann named her new album "The Forgotten Arm," a boxing term for a surprise punch.
