With a new set single and album on the way, things are hotting up for London's larger-than-life hip-hop man Akira The Don.
For a start, Akira (AKA Adam Alphabet) has just launched an awesome new web site, on which fans can tune in to his very own radio station, DonSquad Radio, read his frequently updated blog, watch animated videos, and download Akira-compiled mix tapes for free! That's the way to do it!

Never afraid to court controversy, Akira releases his new single 'Oh! What A Glorious Thing' (backed with 'Boom! (Smash Stuff)) on that infamous date September 11th. There will be a single release party that day, which will include the screening of the documentary film 'Loose Change', which offers a radical take on the events of 9/11.
Also playing at the event, which will be hosted at The Parlour at Sketch, are Brixton's 'Why Lout?' crew, who also guest on the forthcoming ATD album.
And if that's not enough action for Akira fans, he will also be playing at the Electronic Summer Ball on 16th September, supporting Lilly Allen and Mylo.document.write(unescape("
