Overview
Grammy winner and multi platinum music producer Alex Da Kid has created his own label via Interscope Records. Alex’s new label, KIDinaKORNER, will debut with a solo album from singer-songwriter Skylar Grey, who has been featured on three other recent Alex Da Kid hit productions: "Coming Home" from Diddy-Dirty Money, "I Need A Doctor" from Dr. Dre featuring Eminem and "Words I Never Said" from Lupe Fiasco. We like Skylar Grey.
"Developing artists that influence and shape popular culture in an authentic way has always been a huge goal of mine," said Alex Da Kid. "Jimmy Iovine understands that and has been a true mentor to me over the past year. I look forward to continuing all the success we have already had together."
Commented Jimmy Iovine, Chairman of Interscope Geffen A&M: "Interscope has always been committed to great producers, and I think in Alex we found one that will be around for a long time."
