The 34-year-old American actress and her husband Hayes MacArthur announced they were expecting their first child together in July. Ali gave birth to their son on Monday in Los Angeles, and both mother and baby are doing well.
Ali’s representative has confirmed the news to Us Magazine, adding the baby is called Theodore Hayes MacArthur. “He's our perfect Christmas present,” the happy couple said.
No further details about Theodore, such as his weight, have been released.
Ali and Hayes had been together for seven years when they wed in 2009. The actress has been open about her love for her spouse, admitting she knew they had something special early on.
“I told my boyfriend after three weeks that I wanted to marry him and that we could do it tomorrow... I look forward to that time when I'm home with babies,” she previously said.
Ali accidentally revealed she was expecting a boy a couple of months ago, when she referred to the unborn tot as “he” during an interview.
