Ali Lohan is reportedly launching a country music career.
The 20-year-old star is the younger sister of Lindsay Lohan and has previously dabbled in singing. She released an album called Lohan Holiday in time for Christmas in 2006, which hit stores again six years later.
More recently she's been dipping her toe into the fashion pool by modeling, but she's now apparently ready to return to her roots.
According to TMZ, Ali is taking a new avenue this time around as she wants to make it in the country scene. She has apparently been penning songs and has a vocal coach on board to get her in tip top shape.
Ali is said to have travelled to the home of country music, Nashville, with her mother Dina last month. They spent time with producers and Ali used the experience to inspire her songwriting, plus she's been learning more instruments.
The website claims Ali has already impressed label bosses as she's picked up a $120,000 deal with one company. At the moment she hasn't accepted though, as she wants to see what else is out there.
It's been known that Ali was eager to show off her vocal talent since late last year, when she started a YouTube channel and posted a clip of her performing some of Christina Aguilera's hit Beautiful.
Lindsay took the opportunity to support her sister, telling her Twitter follows to head to the footage so they could hear Ali's "beautiful" voice.
Last October, RadarOnline reported that Ali was already laying down tracks for her new LP.
"Ali wants to be taken seriously and is ready to put everything she has into this record," a source explained. "Ali wants her new sound to be Miley Cyrus meets Lana Del Rey."
